A few months after the season was officially renewed, the latest news comes in the form of a filming start date for 9-1-1 season 8. In a recent interview, Howard Han actor Kenneth Choi spoke candidly about the production timeline for the upcoming season, revealing that season 8 begins shooting in July. This quick turnaround is likely to guarantee that the popular procedural can return in fall 2024, but no release date has been announced yet.
