Salary: £22,368.06 to £22,698 Annum (Salary based on a 37.5-hour contract. A higher range is offered to applicants with qualifications in health and social care)

Key duties

• Providing personal care - including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
• Medication administration
• Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
• Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
• Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
• Maintaining written daily records
• Attending and completing training, as required

Where will you work?Springfield House is a large, modern home in a residential setting, two miles from Gloucester City centre. The home supports up to seven women with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and associated complex needs. The detached property is in an ideal location, providing a safe and supportive environment, but with easy access to the city centre and its amenities, including Gloucester Leisure Centre, local colleges, Gloucester Docks and the busy town centre. Springfield has a large communal lounge next to the dining room, which encourages communication and promotes a friendly sociable atmosphere. The large dining area also acts as a space for activities and hobbies, such as dancing and pottery, which are run by external providers. It leads onto a patio at the back of the garden, with steps down to a lawn area - perfect for picnics during the summer.
