When I am asked what my favorite crock pot recipe of all time is, this recipe for Crockpot Angel Chicken immediately comes to mind. We have made it a million different ways, but this angel chicken recipe is my favorite.

How to Make Angel Chicken in a Crock Pot

We originally found this recipe in Gooseberry Patch’sHometown Christmas Cookbook,and it quickly became a family favorite.In fact, we shared a recipe for it a while back, served over our favorite quick rice. This recipe has been on our mealtime rotation ever since.

This Crockpot Angel Chicken is our favorite for a reason. The flavors are incredible, and it is so easy to throw together. This recipe is simple enough for someone who is new to cooking while being delicious enough to please even the pickiest of eaters. It pairs perfectly with angel hair pasta or spaghetti. I hope that you and your loved ones love this amazing meal as much as we do!
What You Will Need for Crock Pot Angel Chicken
Ingredients Needed
- 5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sherry (You can substitute chicken broth.)
- 1/2 cup chive and onion cream cheese, softened
- 10.75 oz can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 oz package Italian dressing mix
- 12 oz angel hair pasta or spaghetti, cooked
Equipment Needed
- Measuring cups
- Small microwave safe bowl or coffee cup
- Mixing bowl and hand mixer or stand mixer
- Stirring spatula
- 6 quart crock pot
- Pot and strainer
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cooking Time: 4 to 6 hours on low

This Crockpot Angel Chicken is our absolute favorite slow cooker chicken recipe. The sauce is fantastic!

Ingredients
- 5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- ¼ Cup Butter melted
- ½ Cup Sherry can substitute chicken broth
- ½ Cup Chive and Onion Cream Cheese softened
- 10¾ oz Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 oz Package Italian Dressing Mix
- 12 oz Cooked Angel Hair Pasta or Spaghetti
Instructions
Place all ingredients-except chicken and pasta-in a mixer and mix on low for 2 minutes.
Place chicken in a 6 quart crock pot and slather mixture over the top.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Serve over angel hair pasta or spaghetti.
