Hello everyone I just had a miscarriage of 9 weeks and I'm so afraid this could happen again any tips for the future? This really broke my heart. Thank you would appreciate it.

What kind of tips are you looking for? Tips to shorten time to conception? Tips to help keep your personal health optimized while you TTC? Unfortunately most first trimester miscarriages are due to chromosomal abnormalities and are therefore unavoidable so there isn’t much in the way of tips or tricks to prevent a second miscarriage, however in that same vein a single miscarriage doesn’t make you prone to having a second, it would still likely be considered a fluke if you did experience a second one.

I was just wondering any tips to prepare for TTC again. But your comment helps a lot since I'm worried that this can happen again thank you 😀.
I think my 9 week miscarriage may have been due to covid/lack of oxygen/coughing so I will be avoiding sick people and big crowds, asking people around me to get vaccines, and wearing a mask next time. A lot of miscarriage, especially in older age are due to chromosomal abnormalities incompatible with life which cannot be completely avoided unfortunately. But you can take some steps both you and spouse can improve sperm and egg quality which may improve chances for successful pregnancy next time. #1 for both quit smoking/drinking, coq10, multivitamin/prenatal multivitamin, omega 3 fatty acids, (add zinc and selenium if there is under 30mg zinc, or lacking selenium), maca. For you add dhea it improves egg quality dont take more than 3 months as it can alter hormone levels though only take till implantation and positive pregnancy test. Drink more liquids, exercise, eat whole unprocessed foods full of healthy fats (sunflower, olive, avocado oils), lots of fruits, veggies, meats, and fish.

You might join ttc after miscarriage and rainbow baby groups too. After my mc I had more specific questions like do I need a scan to make sure there is no retained product of conception (there was for me), how long to get period back, how long to wait, and so on. My period still hasnt come back and its been 71/2 weeks so thats unusually long following mc, theys say after 8 weeks its too long, will have to see dr again to get it sorted out. Good luck.

Most people are free to go about TTC as usual after a single or first miscarriage, it’s when there is a pattern of repeat events pointing to the need for recurrent loss diagnostics that you may want to start being concerned. The internet is full of a lot of fear mongering and “ttc hacks” surrounding best methods for trying to conceive and trying to get there quickly, especially after a loss, but truly earlylosses are so much more common than we are lead to believe because so few people talk about them. The silver lining here is that healthy pregnancies after loss are common as well.
